Life, Liberty, Happiness
As we celebrate the upcoming Independence Day, I’m reminded of one of the most impactful sentences of the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.???
While we are far from perfect as a nation, I am thankful to be living in the United States of America where, in spite of our imperfections, we continue to advance these principles forward.
As you celebrate, take a moment and think about these self-evident truths and encourage someone in “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
